I was just turning 23 when I decided to take the big leap to start my own digital marketing business 3 years ago…

If you told me 3 years ago your business would fly you across the country and that you’d get to meet some of your biggest inspirations and get big clients, I would have thought you were crazy!

Reflecting back - No one understood what I was doing and not everyone was 100% supportive because it wasn’t “stable” or normal.

But no matter what anyone told me I wanted to prove that a Native Hawaiian woman was more than capable of being in this digital industry just as much as anyone else!

In the last 3 years I was able to grow communities to over 100,000 and was able to utilize this strategies to help folx in need.

But also in 3 years I am still figuring SO MUCH out. I am still trying to figure out my personal life. I am still trying to move out of my parents house. And I am still trying to figure out how to best organize my schedule and life so that I can grow my marketing agency.

BUT before I scare you too much, seeing the results of the work you do is always 1000000% worth everything.

I hope that someday I can help encourage more kānaka and POC peeps to get into the world of social media. Our voices and representation is SO important and so needed.
